Our WordPress plugins are coded to allow for localization of languages. To translate a plugin into your language, you must first create a special type of file (.po or .pot file) in your language, assuming it is not yet supported. Here are some tools for you to translate plugins.
- We suggest you use a tool such as POEdit for translations. Most language files can be found in a subfolder within your plugin folder under “/languages” or similar
- You may also want to try either of these plugins from WPML.org.
- WPML Multilingual CMS – WPML combines multilingual content authoring with powerful translation management.
- WPML String Translation – WPML add-on: Allows translating texts in the theme, in other plugins and in the WordPress Admin.
