Include an optional description column next to each file
It would be great to have the option to provide a one or two sentence description for files to enhance usability (and avoid lengthy descriptive filenames). It would also be great if this description area can contain links so users can click on and open html versions of documents to improve accessibility for those wanting to access our documentation via screen reader.
Employee Search Options
1. Office as a search option for the employee directory
2. Is it possible to make it where people can search by more than one criteria. For example, on one you could select to search by title and then on the other by department. So if you searched supervisor in Tax, those people would show up?
PTO, Vacation, Time Off, Front-end and Back-end manipulate total time used
When a user selects a start date, lets say Saturday then selects a stop date, lets say Wednesday. Even if you have you have “Exclude weekends from days off?” as “NO” it only calculates 3 days. What would be nice because everyone works different days, weeks, etc when filling out the PTO days request have an extra field for total days/hrs submitted. Have this override what ever the calendar says or does. This would help for those who have to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Total 3 days or 24 hrs. Also have this same feature on the back-end so an Admin can over ride a user submission.
Simple Appointments Email Confirmation of Cancellation
When a user cancels a confirmed appointment using the JS checkbox, it doesn’t send a confirmation email. Every other action does send one, including removing a meeting in the backend.
In order to sync Outlook with the Intranet calendar, confirmation emails are needed to trigger macros in outlook. No email, no macro, no sync.

Leave in hours instead of days
After your last update you added partial days and called it hours, this still is not helping some of us. Could you make the entire set up in hours? From the back end input hours earned, hours used, hours earned per paycheck etc. This helps for people who have different employees who are on different shifts each week. Sometimes they work Monday – Friday next week they work Tuesday – Saturday. Either way they will earn 40 hours in a week. When employers give their employees time of by the hour this is much easier to handle with your new partial days. The start date is great, but have the next item be “Hours earned in a year” then show when the employees anniversary date is and show how many hours they will have after this date. This will help for those that go from anniversary date to anniversary date. Continue with hours earned and hours used. Each time the employee requests time off it will made in hours. Maybe have a place to check a box so show and reset hours on the employees anniversary date.
Sickness reporting and tracker
Pretty much a duplicate of Simple Leave/Vacation but one which provides a form to be submitted for reporting sickness and creates a record of sickness in the calendar
Employee of the Month
My suggestion is to move this from the user’s file to somewhere independent like a plugin, so the user can’t modify the text or deselect employee of the month. Also, it would be great to have a means of allowing users to nominate an employee of the month (which could be a category in a new Suggestion Box feature or plugin. Naturally this suggestion box would be private & only viewable by specified individuals who would be notified by the suggestion. I’d like to be able to have a Suggestion/Nominate button available on each page.
Scheduling of Posts and Pages
I’d like to be able to set a start and stop date for posts and pages.
I’d like to be able have all the categories listed on a page. Right now it just brings up wiki archives. I can add the widget to my navigation but it takes up space. I’d like a page URL that lists them all. Thanks!
